The S.S Moyie
I worked with the Kootenay Lake Historical Society to redesign the outdated website for the S.S. Moyie, a National Historic Site of Canada, and a British Columbia Historic Landmark.
Located in Kaslo, BC, the Moyie is the oldest intact passenger-carrying sternwheel steamer in the world. After 59 years of service on Kootenay Lake the S.S. Moyie was retired in 1957 and eventually restored to become a popular national historic site.
I updated the website to run on WordPress, allowing the staff to easily make updated to the text and add new content themselves. I focused on a clean design featuring large historic photos from the Kootenay Lake Archives.
